In 1990, I
learned what my mission statement would be, even though I did not realize
it then. I had been
asking God questions of why things were happening the way they were and He
gave me the scripture of II Corinthians 1:3-4, which says 'Blessed be the
God and Father of mercies and God of
all comforts; Who comforts us in all our affliction so that we may be able
to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we
ourselves are comforted by God.' I am committed to being led by God to do
what He would have me to do to help bring comfort, healing, and wholeness to those
who are hurting."
